About

Hello. My name is Nicola Jones. I am an interactive designer specialising in website design. I currently work for an agency in Cardiff designing & building websites using XHTML & CSS. I have a passion for creativity & this website serves to showcase my work & anything that has caught my attention on the web.

Education

I graduated with a First class degree in ‘Design for New Media’. During the course I took a year out to work as a Junior Designer in a large agency.

Afterwards I decided to enroll on a MA Graphic Communication course so that I could become a more rounded designer. I received a Distinction in my masters and spent the following year teaching Graphic Design to foundation students.

Career

I currently work as an interactive designer at an agency in Cardiff, UK. I like to think I bring ethusiasm and dedication to everything I do in my job. I still have a strong desire to learn and develop and constantly try to push my boundaries so I improve. I feel lucky to be involved in an amazing and exciting industry that is constantly changing.

Why Creative Cupcake?

Creativity is my passion and cupcake is an old nickname for ‘a beloved girl’ – I aim to make my work creative with a touch of femininity. (I can also often be found baking and decorating cupcakes.)
